An English lecturer was telling his students that the old adage “two wrongs don’t make a right” was not strictly true, gramatically, where two negative words could be used to make a positive point.
But, he said, the opposite was never true. You could never take two positive words to make a negative point.
From the back of the class, one student piped up: “Yeah, right!”
